How it works
- Select the CABS animations you wish to purchase.
- Personalization is automatic. We use your first name as listed on your order. (sorry, no business names or nick names.)
- Select other add-ons to customize each of your CABS table designs as desired.
- Place your order. By purchasing CABS, you agree to the EULA terms as listed below.
- Allow 1-10 business days for production depending on the number of CABS animations you ordered and level of customization through upgrades.
- Once your custom animations have been created, CABS will email you a notification with a secure download link to your animations.
- Download & backup your new files within 10 days of receiving your download link. *NOTE* Your files will be deleted from our servers after 10 days!
- Copy the CABS files to your virtual pinball cabinet's appropriate media folders & enjoy! (don't forget to backup your files. CABS does not keep backups.)
- For FaceSwap and GamerAvatar upgrades, submit your selfie photos &/or avatar images as instructed in the above info graphics.
End User License Agreement
When purchasing and using CABS content, it is to be understood that the end-user is only purchasing a limited license agreement to use the content and not a product that the customer / end-user owns. By purchasing CABS, you are agreeing to the license, as well as the terms and conditions as listed here. Once purchased, the customer/end-user is granted a limited license of the content that allows usage of their purchased CABS content on their personal virtual pinball cabinet. The end-user shall not give away, share, bundle, distribute, sell, dissect, or modify in any way their licensed CABS content in part or whole. Do not film your CABS animations full screen and post online. If posting video recordings of your cabinet displaying your CABS content, do so in a manner that shows your entire cabinet in a wide shot or in a close-up/camera panning motion to protect your licensed content. By using CABS, you are agreeing to use the CABS content for your own personal home use only. Your CABS products are unique to you in many ways in both visible and non-visible forms. Do NOT share/upload or resell your CABS content. You are ultimately responsible for your CABS content. Violators sharing their licensed CABS content on any web torrent site or community forum WILL be prosecuted for ALL downloads of their illegally shared files.

Here at CABS, we love these original pieces of Americana pinball art and respectfully kept as close to the designs original look and feel as possible while bringing it all to life through motion and effects. CABS are created for a wide range of virtual pinball cabinets including commercially manufactured cabinets to the various "homebrew" custom built cabinets. From both traditional horizontal & vertical cabinet designs, to the starter enthusiast with a single monitor laid down on a table... CABS has you covered!
CABS are available in multiple screen rastor sizes to fit the most common builds available including:
- 16:9 HD Full Screen for those with a dedicated backglass monitor in addition to a 2nd screen for a DMD.
- 16:9 HD Full Screen cabinets using a 15" monitor for the Full DMD like modern cabinets use.
- 1600x1200 4:3 w/ speaker grill graphics/animations & DMD space utilizing the full backglass image.
- 16x9 HD 3/4 screen w/ speaker grill graphics/animations & DMD space with the backglass design elements rearranged to fit better.
- 1920x1080 Single Screen / Table Video users who do not use a dedicated monitor for a backglass. These versions have some characters and props from the original backglass included in and around the Wheel Image.
- Single screen versions come with or without an embedded Wheel Image depending on if you use traditional Wheel Image graphics in your front-end game selector software. NOTE- single Screen versions are only used for game selection use within the front-end selector.
The CABS DMD animations were designed for use with both a traditional "Classic Orange" DMD look as well as the full-color "Marquee" styles found in use on popular upright or "vertical" pinball/arcade cabinets. The Classic Orange and Full-Color DMD versions are true to form with a 128x32 dot overlay to give your cabinet that authentic real DMD look. The 1366x500 Full-Color Personalized Marquees are designed to fit the larger screens found in popular vertical pinball/MAME combo type cabinets such as the Vertigo from VPcabs. Please note, 2-screen Backglasses that display the DMD window, Animated DMD panels and Full DMD animations, come with a black window where you will place your cabinets' DMD screen over via your virtual pinball software.
The Personalized CABS Table Videos are offered with and without the Wheel Image embedded. If you like the look of a front-end selector but don't want to use a separate graphic file, there's a version for you! If you have a dedicated backglass monitor and don't want the repetitive use of characters and props from the backglass used with your table video, the "Standard" version is for you! All table video versions are created to give your Wheel Image an animated feel to them, even if you select to use a version with the static Wheel Image included separately for a front-end game selector.
We here at CABS use the Pinball X front-end software on our virtual pinball cabinets. While the CABS animations will work with all Front-End software, you will have mixed results if they use extra graphics for the "wheel" base itself. We have created CABS to work with the most basic of Front-End software currently available. In fact, we made versions of CABS that do not require you to have or use any additional logo graphics outside of what comes with the CABS Table Videos with Animated Wheel Images. If you like, you can have the Wheel image itself embedded into the Table Video for a cleaner full screen experience. The choice is yours for how you want to use CABS with your particular Front-End software.
You can use your CABS backglass animations in most of todays popular virtual pinball games and software "in-game" including Pinball FX from Zen Studios, Visual Pinball and Future Pinball as well as most popular front-end game selector software such as Pinball X, PinUp Popper and others.
(Pinball FX3 does not allow for animated backglasses in-game)
No. CABS does not own the copyrights of the original artwork to allow for that, nor do we license the additive media we create for these personal customization services.

There are multiple front-end software systems that use these animations in different ways both in and out of the game itself. Here are a few forums that we recommend you to join and read up on if you do not already know how to use animated backglass files on your personal virtual pinball machine.
